Where do I put the reference code listed with an online job posting?
Q. Many job postings on Monster.com and Craigslist have reference codes listed by the employer. For example, one law firm includes "Reference Code: RAD - Admin. Asst." at the end of the ad. Do I include this in the subject line or in the body of the email? Or do I omit it all together? Please, only answer if you know for certain...I can play the guessing game on my own. Thanks in advance for your help!
Asked by Ciespi - Tue Jul 10 19:03:36 2007 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Like everything else, this answer depends on the lister. First choice is to include the reference code in the subject line on the email response.: In the body of your cover letter write: Responding to your reference code listed as RAD-Administrative Assistant There may be listings where they specifically ask you to include it in the subject line, or in the first paragraph of your cover letter: If no such direction is given, list the information directly beneath the attention: Individual Name, in direct indentation write the subject reference number and the source from which you got the number. Good luck in your search.

what does reference code 1221 mean specifically?
Q. I have been waiting for over two weeks for refund that is continually getting delayed. I got a code 1201 and now I have code 1221. What does this specifically mean and what is the IRS looking for. When I called they were extremely vague and like many of us, I am waiting on my refund just to even pay my rent.

A. Um in the same situation as you. I've been waiting for my refund since 1/17 first it was a dd date of 1/30 and then delayed to 2/24. I've had the same reference codes as you... N0w i'm @ 1221. They irs reps told me that i am to expect a cp05 letter in the mail. So you will probably get one, too. I asked them what is the letter for and they said just to let you know that you taxes are being reviewed! So they are probably reviewing yours, too. -G00D LUCK!

A. 1121 is a p-freeze which means your account has basically been frozen until further review. Many of us went thru this last year and never really got any answers from the IRS. If you call the IRS and ask them if your account is frozen,...they have to tell you yes or no. If it is a freeze, you can expect a very long wait. If you are experiencing a hardship due to the delay you can request a taxpayer advocate to assist you in getting your refund released. This is due to increased enforcement by the criminal investigations unit and technically they don't have to give you a reason for the delay...1121 is a freeze for sure! To give you an idea on how long you can expect to wait...last year I filed in January and was due a refund on 1/26/07. I… [cont.]

A. I have had deposit dates of 1/25, 2/19 which change to 2/8, then to 2/15. Then start getting the codes 1221, 8002, 1121 and today 8002. I've been waiting over a month and the irs reps don't really have a clue about any of the codes. I've called several times about all the codes to be told nothing wrong with my taxes. So, know I just continue to wait.

A. The International building code is usually acceptable by all municipalities. Footings are to be dug 16"x16"x 10" deep. There are to be 8" of concrete in the bottom of the hole and the post is to be set on the footing and 2" around the post. The support posts are to be 6x6's and The outside frame is to be one size larger than the joist size. a 2x8 will span 12'8" and a 2x10 will span 16'8". Posts should be spaced no more than 10' apart and handrail posts a maximum of 8' apart.(If the support posts are going all the way through rather than the deck built with a girder for support, I space the posts no more than 8' apart) Spindles have to be spaced so that a 4" sphere cannot pass through between them. Stairs may not have more than a 7 3/ [cont.]

VB code: How do you reference radio buttons in a function?
Q. How do you reference radio buttons in a function? The assignment is to create a simple program that will convert Fahrenheit to Celsius and Celsius to Fahrenheit. To do that, I added a group box with two radio buttons, one each for Fahr. and Cels. My professors only criticism was with the radio buttions. His exact response was, "Reference radio boxes in function: -13 pts." I am just wondering what this means so I can correct it. Any ideas?
Asked by Jennifer M - Tue Jul 1 00:02:47 2008 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Hi, suppose the name of the radio button is Option1 and function name is fn() then then either pass this radio button as parameter to the function as below: Private Sub Command1_Click() MsgBox a(Option1) End Sub Public Function a(o As OptionButton) As Integer If o.Value = True Then a = 1 Else a = 0 End If End Function if u do not want to pass parameter then use the complete reference of the radio button, i.e., if Option button is on form1 then use Form1.Option1. This works wherever ur function be, either in another form or in any module.
