- Aspect (computer science) In computer science, an aspect is a part of a program that cross-cuts its core concerns, therefore violating its separation of concerns. It is a feature linked to many parts of a program, but which is not necessarily the primary function of the program. For example, logging code can cross-cut many modules, yet the aspect of logging should be, a feature that is linked to many parts of a program, but which is not necessarily the primary function of the program
- Grammatical aspect In linguistics, the grammatical aspect of a verb defines the temporal flow (or lack thereof) in the described event or state. - In railway signalling Railway signalling is a system used to control railway traffic safely, essentially to prevent trains from colliding.
