A. I'm having this same problem. I filed 2/4 and was accepted 2/5. Irs website said I should receive by the 17th. Nothing. Then yesterday 2/18 I had the 1301 code. Last night it switched to 2/27. Hopefully I receive it soon.

A. ENG 101 or ENG 1301 are just basically the code used for schools to assign to each class. What you need to look for is course name and course description this will matter when it is time to transfer courses. The general name of the course would be English Composition 1, but each school may have a different way of referencing that course. I think it all may have to deal with the accreditation of each school with how they label it as well.

A. I still have code 1301 as of 2/27. I efiled 1/19 and was accept 1/20, should have had DD of 1/30 (or 2/3 at latest) the WMR site changed on 2/4 to still processing ... refer code 1301 and has been there ever since. Spoke to IRS rep on 2/26 (makes about a doz times nw) and was told to allow at least 2 to 3 more wks before calling back as they have no additional ifnormation, if I don't get either refund or a ltr by then call back. yeah, right. it will do no good. I have lost all hope at this point. Have you gotten a DD yet? good luck, keep us updated.

A. DANG! Well, glad to hear it's not just me and I don't have to get the handcuffs ready. I called the IRS office, waited on hold for 15 minutes, only to have the agent tell me they don't know why my return is stuck. Originally filed turbotax efile and was told to expect the refund on 02/06. Then checked IRS website when this didn't come, and it said to expect return 02/10. Now it tells me to call the IRS office with this code ...but the agent is no help. She told me that they have up to 4 weeks to clarify this ... and their time doesn't start to count until they have put this into a hold position ... not the time that I sent this in 3 weeks ago.

Has anyone who still has a reference code of 1301 as of 2/509 been told by IRS they will get DD 2/6?
Q. My WMR page still says reference code 1301 and the CSR said I would not be getting my refund 2/6 as far as what she can see this a.m. I am wondering if anyone else with same code talked to an agent who indicated a DD of 2/6 is coming. ok, just got the phone w/irs csr and she says it is absolutely a "glitch" in their system and they have 3 wks from the date erceived (1/20) to fix it and give me a DD date, so if I don't have a dd date by 2/10 then call them back.

A. Not yet!!! My error code 1301 has been there for over 2 weeks now!!! Last time we called (the lady sounded drunk) they said was possibly still in errors, could not say why. also said that they were sending out a letter but she did not know what it was for or when it would go out!! Hate to tell ya that!!! some peoples 1301 codes are changing right away to a dd and others like myself are still sitting and waiting!

IRS Reference Number 1301?
Q. We filed our taxes on January 20th and they were accepted and a refund date was estimated of Feburary 2nd. Well that didnt happen so I called the IRS on Monday. They couldnt find us in the system and said that since we were first time tax filers and filing jointly that there was a delay on our refund and that our new estimated date would be up on their refund status website. We checked tonight and it have us a reference number of 1301... Does anyone know what this means? Thanks!

A. With you and your spouse being first time filers that will automatically delay the processing of your return, this allows the IRS computers to set up your account information which the computer did not have until you filed this return. Unfortunately this delays your refund being issued.
